Overview

IBM wanted to have a workshop with Skytap executives to find out how might IBM and Skytap work together on an affordable cloud offering for large production POWER/AIX workloads (large CPU, memory, and storage requirements and HA).

  • How might IBM and Skytap work together on an affordable cloud offering for large production POWER/AIX workloads (large CPU, memory, and storage requirements and HA)?
  • How might IBM and Skytap bring to market a cloud-based certified SAP offering?
  • How might IBM and Skytap provide a management / admin experience (PowerVC, PowerSC, etc.) which spans on-premises and Skytap Cloud?
  • What are the Power workloads Skytap, with the support of IBM, should focus on in order to maximize revenue and profitability?

The outcome

We successfully completed the workshop where the clients created their persona. After that  they crafter their need statements into different consumable MVPs i.e. – Scooter, Motorcycle or Car. Then based on that they generated the Big Ideas.
