MAKING THE MOBILE WEB 3D USING WEBGL

Ninh started the session with the common anxiety we have for mobile app- it’s performance. Graphics have always been a challenge on mobile web. The results have been inconsistent as well. To overcome this, we have 3 challenges –
- Amplifying the experiences
- Providing fast and real time response
- Making the content shareable easily around the globe
He mentioned few points why a native app approach would not work (yet)
- Apps have logistical difficulties
- Content changes are difficult to handle
- Apps are not easily accessible around the globe
